Preparation sessions are held for candidates in tenth grade during the months of October through April along with various other activities throughout the year.
Confirmation for Youth
Older high school youth are also welcome to prepare and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
The Confirmation Liturgy takes place at the Basilica of Saint Stanislaus or the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with the other Winona area Catholic Churches.

The Sacrament of Confirmation
Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the "sacraments of Christian initiation, whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace.
