Young of age and full of energy and curiosity, students in EduCare and Preschool at St. Mary’s have a bright future ahead of them at Cotter Schools. They’re making countless discoveries, and we’re here to help them establish a foundation for learning and social interaction that will carry on throughout the years.
The St. Mary’s church building started as a small wooden frame structure built in 1911 on the site of the current Roger Bacon Center. The current building was built in 1939 on the present site with an addition in 1996.
Today’s Kindergartner is tomorrow’s six grader, steadily gaining skills and awareness in their academic subjects and the world around them. St. Luke Hall of Cotter Schools is abuzz with activities and opportunities.
Cotter Schools provides a safe learning environment where students in grades 7-8 receive individualized instruction and attention to their needs. Each student is unique and develops in his or her own way. Our faculty and staff recognize this and develop personalized learning plans to meet each student’s needs.
At Cotter Schools, our mission is to challenge students to achieve their full potential and use their lives in service of others. Our interdisciplinary, liberal arts education helps students develop skills in critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity, preparing them to meet the needs of an ever-changing world.
